Quote:
"The family is doing well at the moment as typhoid is dying off.
The Bethany choir group is doing very good. Some people from the churches decided
to give some support so that the choir can go to the recording studio in Mwanza to
record the songs," (end quote)
Some of you will remember that our new lab Technician Onsmass is a gifted musician and
has been helping the children with their singing and they have formed the 'Bethany Choir'.
The choir go to different churches on Sundays to sing. They must be very good if the
people in the local churches have raised enough money for them to go to Mwanza to a
recording studio. Hopefully I will bring a copy of their recordings back with me and put
some of the songs on the website for you to hear (& download) for those who are
interested. Sadly the songs will be in Swahili or Sukuma unless Fares manages to convince
them an odd song in English would be good!
Fares also talks about the rains, Quote:
"It is still raining a lot at the moment. Many buildings are falling down in the village
and other places! "
So it never rains but it pours.
