Graham Pountain and Tracey Pearson arrived Manchester airport 11:00 hours today. Both survived the
delayed journey and hope to be reunited with their luggage when Sabena find where they lost it!
Both have all the latest news and are looking forward to telling everyone about their visit at the information day
this Saturday the 2nd December at 10am, Abbey resource centre, Union Rd, Oswaldtwistle. Tel: 01254 822767. All are very welcome
The rains are continuing at Bethany and crops planted now will yield a rich harvest if the rains continue for a
few months.
The well is once again siphoning water from the Lake - but still seems to be temperamental - sometimes the
pipe primes successfully - other times it fails.
The children break up on the 1st December for their Christmas holiday.
Everyone is well and looking to the future!

Graham arrived safely and reports that all are well at Bethany.
He says that the rain has followed him and the people of Yitwimila have had their first two days of heavy rain
for months. They are planting crops and rejoicing.
Tracey is OK and passes on her greetings and also thanks everyone for their many letters (she has been
overwhelmed).
The children are all happy (most of the time) and are often out with everyone else digging over their 'shambas'
and sometimes falling out with each other as they forget whose is whose.
Fares and Grace are taking a few days off this week - a rest before another Christmas at Bethany.
The children are practising a few new songs, some in English - they plan to do a Christmas nativity of sorts. It
will of course be on video.
The clinic is working well with their new 'doctor'. Unfortunately, their ancient microscope failed to light up on
Friday and initially it was thought that it needed a new bulb. Upon examination all the electrical contacts had become rusty with age - so it got a clean out and works once again!
Don't forget the prayer/information day on Saturday 2nd December at the Abbey Resource Centre,
Oswaldtwistle. Tel. 01254 399299
