Congratulations
to our Flintshire Midweek 'A' team in beating Caerwys in the Final of the Billy Hardy Shield.
The result of final was in doubt until the very last bowl of the very last
end with the scores even and Roy Jones won 21-20 to ensure Gladstone won the
aggregate by one point thus winning a very exciting final. What a great
final to watch. Commiserations to a very good Caerwys team

Vets merit.

Well done to Gladstone's Chester League team on winning the 'C'
Division League in their final game at Burtonwoods. Also congratulations to
Chris Beer on winning the Chester League Merit on the very last game of the
season.

Roy Jones the first Merit winner of the season on winning the Gladstone 'A'
Flintshire Midweek merit with still five weeks to go.

Gladstone Chester League team win 10-4
against Rossett Celts today and now need only 2 points to win the Chester
League Title at their last game away at Burtonwoods on the 13th of August.
Why not come along and support the team?

Club Charity competition will be held on next Sunday 9th August
starting at 11.00am. Please arrive before 10.45 hrs to enable draw to be
made for a 11am prompt start. Entry list now up in club house with donation
list for food and draw prizes.

Congratulations
to our Flintshire Midweek 'A' team in beating Connah's Quay at Airbus last
night to make it to the Final of the Billy Hardy Shield. It was a thrilling
game between two goods sides with the final out come being dependant on the
last two games. At one point Gladstone trailed by 1 game to 4 but finally
winning 6 games to 4 and with the aggregate were the winners with 7 points
to 4.

Next Round Robin is on
Sunday 20th of June starting at 2.00pm. Please arrive by 1.45pm so the draw
can take place to enable a 2pm prompt start.

The opening BBQ Round
Robin was a great success with over 50 members attending. The competition
was won by Linda Hodkinson and Chris Beer who beat Rene Bonell and Malcolm
Barnes.

Gladstone Bowling Club Coffee Morning being held this coming Saturday 28th
March will now be held at the Tithe Barn, Hawarden and
not the
Masonic Hall. The time of 10am to 12 noon remains the same. Hope to see you
