| KEN'S DEN | |||||||
| Remember back in the heroic days of
personal computing - way before the IBM PC, the magazine to read was
Byte Byte was a mixture of construction projects
like building your own interface cards and program listings. Many and
hour we spent tying them in. Alas, Byte has gone the way of DEC and
other industry giants - it has ceased publication. The good news is that it has recently risen from the ashes, and now appears as a free 'magazine' on the internet. The articles are excellent. www.byte,com G |

| UTILITY OF THE MONTH | |||||||
| Last time we talked about a
great little utility called ColorPad. It is just
62Kb zipped. To refresh your memory - It captures and records colours
from web pages or anything on your screen. Once captured the colour is
displayed on ColorPad's screen allowing you to adjust red, green and
blue. It will copy the resulting hex code to your clipboard so you can
use it in your own application. This month we've decided to follow the example of the computer magazines and have a 'cover CD'. In our case we have attached the zipped program. If you have trouble with our attachment you can get it from www.webattack.com G Need an exact match for 'IBM blue' or Orange's orange - capture it with ColorPad. Get it free from www.webattack.com G |
