The complex is
approached by a private drive (200 meters) leading into a stoned
courtyard where cars may unload.
The
cottages must be approached on foot over a small stream 90cm wide,
stone slab bridges are provided (maximum width 51cm) each cottage is
then accessed via a single doorstep (17cm - 20cm high).
Shower rooms and
kitchens are located on the ground floor in all cottages, in four of
the cottages these facilities are below the lounge level, two cottages
have a single step, two cottages have a double step
All bedrooms are
located on the first floor and are approached via modern eleven step
staircases incorporating a turn landing and handrails.
Ty Canol Bach and Ty
Canol Mawr may be let as a joint unit as they have an interconnecting
door between the two lounge areas (door width 74cm). A sofa bed has
been provided in the lounge of Ty Canol Mawr.
The cottages open onto a stoned path leading down via two stone steps into a grassed area complete with BBQ. Further gardens comprising lawns, a pond and playing fields may be enjoyed, seating is provided in all areas.
To the rear of the complex the land raises steeply to the woods and dingle, access is via grass paths.
