We have now moved to rolling (continuous) recruitment, which will enable us to call upon potential applicants when we have vacancies. Any applications received will be processed in due course and held for a maximum period of twelve months.
Completion of the application form:
To complete electronically, use the form in Word format - complete, save and email it to fire.recruitment@surreycc.gov.uk. Alternatively you are welcome to send the form to the address below. Please note that you will be asked to sign the declaration and bring a photograph with you if you are successful in being invited to attend the psychometric assessments.
To complete hand-written, print off the form in PDF format - complete and attach a photograph and return to:

You will notice that there is a Pre-Application Checklist 1 at the beginning of the application form - please ensure that you complete this as it will give you an idea as to whether this is the right career for you.
If you would like us to acknowledge receipt of your application via the post then please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. You should be aware that due to the huge response of applications you might not hear from us for several weeks. Therefore, please avoid contacting the HR Department at this early stage in the process.
