The GURRs have eluded me for some time. I have just received some fascinating information from Tina Rennie. I have not been able to check these yet, but it all looks very exciting. Baptism dates, where given, are from the IGI. My husband's direct line is in red. It would appear that my husband's grandfather Joseph and his brother John Thomas GURR may have married KINGSLAND sisters or cousins. There were hundreds of KINGSLANDs in Buxted, Sussex. Trying to disentangle them should be fun - even the Vicar seemed to be unsure which child belonged to which parents on occasions!
