The MonkeyRun concept all began in 2001 when I got into Monkey Bikes. I was looking for a web site just like this one but found there wasn't one so decided to make my own. I started the Forum in January 2002 and this web site followed in May of the same year. Interest snowballed and thanks to the relentless support of like minded citizens the website had a thriving community in little time. Collectively we are a decent bunch of boys and girls out for a laugh on two (small) wheels in the UK. Being web based only and with virtually no outgoings there is no membership fee for using MonkeyRun and with no membership fee, we're not a club; more a fellowship; a gaggle of Monkeys
