This year, the competition was organised by Keith Allan, the new five-a-side football convenor, and held, as usual in the Inverkeithing Community Wing on Saturday 9th November. Many thanks must go to Keith, to the Inverkeithing Wing, for use of their facilities, the Inch Fellowship for keeping the scores and to all others who helped to make the competition a success.
A special thanks must be offered to referee Roddy Lambie, who refereed all the games, and to the cubs and leaders for taking part.
This page has been validated to HTML 4.01 Transition standards. For further details of this validation scheme, visit http://validator.w3.orgAs there were only five teams this year, the competition was played as a league, each team playing each other team, thus avoiding a following "knock-out" round. many thanks must go to those cubs who came along as reserves for their own team, and sportingly played with the 48th to make up the numbers. Well done those cubs.
All games were 5 mins each way. A suitable break was held during the evening for the referee to have a breather.
