5-A-Side Football Competition

The Anne Spence Trophy For Scouts

Scout and Explorer Scout Results 2002

This year, the competition was organised by Keith Allan, the new five-a-side football convenor, and held, as usual in the Inverkeithing Community Wing on Saturday 16th November. 4 Scout teams took part, with another 3 teams from the Explorer Scout Section. Many thanks must go to Keith, to the Inverkeithing Wing, for use of their facilities, the Inch Fellowship for keeping the scores and to all others who helped to make the competition a success.

A special thanks must be offered to referee Roddy Lambie, who refereed all the games.

As there were only four scout teams and 3 explorer scout teams this year, the competition was played as a league, each team playing each other team, thus avoiding a following "knock-out" round.

Scout games were 5 mins each way. Explorer Scout games 7 mins each way. A suitable break was held during the evening for the referee to have a breather.
