Training Notes

For details of all training courses, see the District Calendar. The details will show the Organiser or contact details for each event. Catherine-Ann Ness is the District Adult Training Advisor who should be contacted to go on any course.

Note that the calendar shows all training dates within the Region or SHQ and may also show some courses in other Regions. If other training is required, consult your Training Adviser or Catherine-Ann Ness directly

Some of the training events, notable outdoor pursuits, are run by the Lochore Outdoor Education Centre run by Fife Council. On this site, you can download a PDF file detailing all their courses.

Although fees are payable for these courses, Fife Council will give 1/3 as a grant on application from leaders using the skills learnt for young persons. In the same way SHQ Developement Fund will offer another 1/3, with the East Scotland Region picking up the remaining 1/3.
