The Bamburgh Research Project has won a prestigious BT Community Connections award. The award consists of an internet ready PC and internet access for 12 months courtesy of British Telecom.
There have been 589 similar awards, but BT informs us that the applications for their award have been overwhelming. The awards are aimed at projects/groups with a solid community base and a desire to spread information as widely as possible.
This computer will make maintenance of the BRP website much easier and will allow regular updates throughout the summer digging period and allow a dedicated PC which will make community involvement even better.
