Getting
Involved With The Bamburgh Research Project
|
There are a number of ways to get involved with the Project.
Participating as an Excavator
Each Summer, the Bamburgh Research Project runs a field school, based at Bamburgh Castle, to teach archaeological field techniques to students and volunteers.

Excavation within the West Ward of Bamburgh Castle
In the Summer of 2004, the field school will run from 21st June to 29th August.
IMPORTANT NOTE the field school is fully booked up for 2004.
There are a number of sites running each year, each one being Directed and staffed by professional field archaeologists. They use the incredibly rich and diverse archaeology of Bamburgh to teach the most modern techniques in a friendly but rigorous environment.
