Safety

Children who cannot swim and children under 8 years of age must be closely supervised at all times by an adult aged 18 or above.

It is recommended that an adult should supervise no more than two children under 8. Children under supervision are allowed to the depth the adult can stand but no deeper, even if they are using armbands or other buoyancy aid.

Children aged 8 to 16 may use the Pool unaccompanied provided that they can swim 2 lengths non-stop competently.

Anybody unable to swim 2 lengths non-stop must not go out of their depth.

Safety advice given by a lifeguard and the Pool rules and regulations must be obeyed.

For safety reasons it may be necessary to control admissions to the Pool during busy periods.
