BEESAFE REPLACEMENT

Ealing Council and Ealing Police have set up a new service to replace the now defunct Beesafe. However, the new service is limited to elderly and vulnerable people who have suffered a residential burglary. The details are:

  1. Elderly and vulnerable people who suffer a residential burglary should immediately report it to the Police on 020 8810 1212. They will receive a letter giving them a crime reference number and offering a free home security survey and free security improvements up to £200, by a company that is fully police checked. To book an appointment, contact the Community Safety Team; all details are given in the letter. Usually, they will also have a visit from one of our Safer Neighbourhood Team

  2. All other people who have a residential burglary should report it to the Police on 020 8810 1212. They will be given a crime reference number and will receive a letter. They can then ask for a free home security survey either from our Safer Neighbourhood Team or from the Council’s Community Safety Team on 020 8825 7600 or communitysafety@ealing.gov.uk.

  3. Anyone can ask for a free home security survey by contacting the Safer Neighbourhood Team on 020 8825 7600.
