Hoad’s Fish Shop

The Hoads, father and son, kept this fish shop in Cunnington Street from 1908 until 1940 (Kelly’s Directory). The poster for the Chiswick Empire advertises a new revue ‘Alice Up To Date’ which was written in 1914 by Fred Thompson. The shop is now a private house and the Railway Mission is still a church.
