Fairlawn Park

These tennis courts were surrounded by Fairlawn Grove, Fairlawn Avenue and Ravenscroft Road. This card is postmarked 1913 but is an earlier picture c1907/8. The view is taken from Ravenscroft Road looking west. The tennis courts were built over in the 1930s when the present maisonettes were constructed.
