Wick Thistle 1 v 1 John O'Groats

John O'Groats were denied their first win of the season against defending Division 1 Champions Wick Thistle who equalised in the 90th minute of the game to salvage a point.

John O'Groats still looking for their first win of the season having played 3 games and 3 defeats, although they could'nt have asked for a much harder start with games against Castletown, Acks, Pentland Utd and now Wick Thistle were in need for some valuable points.

Groats had to change things around a bit with Ewan Mackay coming in for defender/chairman Willie Ross currently on holiday in Hawaii, while Mark Munro returned to the team to partner his brother Del up front with Shaun Henstridge ruturning to University.

Groats got off to the best possible start with defender Ewan Mackay scoring after 5 mins. After that both teams had various chances to kill the game off, however Goalkeepr Henderson had an excellent game and was determined not to let a goal in past him. However there was to be disappointment for Groats as Thistle got an equalising goal right on the 90^th minute to finnish the game 1-1.

Groats will be extremely disappointed not to get the full 3 points. However will go into the next game against Rovers with a bit more confidence.
