John O'Groats 2 v 4 Pentland Utd

John O'Groats kicked off their first friendly game of the season with a 4 - 2 defeat to former Division 1 Winners, Pentland United. Windy conditons in John O'Groats made playing football very difficult in the 1st half, however Andy Webster's men held their heads high to pull back two goals given an end scoreline of 4 - 2.

Pentland Utd are no doubt the stronger team and quality can be seen throughout their entire squad. However Groats will be reasonablly happy with there workout and the end scoreline was a respectable result against a team that will deffinately be pushing to win the league title.
