Ar Gyfer Heddiw Bore.

Ar gyfer heddiw bore,
Maban bach, maban bach,

A gaed o wreiddyn Iesse

Maban bach.

Y cadarn ddaeth o Bosra,

Y deddfwr gynt ar Sina

Yr Iawn gaed ar Galfaria

Maban bach, maban bach

Yn sugno bron Maria Maban bach

The town is clothed in shadow
on this frosty Christmas morn,

only starlight guides our journey

to the dawn.

Our chapel windows shimmer,

glowing festive lanterns glimmer,

then a solo alto singer

sings her praise to God on High,

as we stand and turn our faces to the sky.

We see Bethesda's candles
through our tired and sleepy eyes

as a silver shaft of sunlight

breaks the skies.

There's Catrin, Siân and Menna,

next to Mr. Jenkins Tenor,

singing memories of Eastern Kings

and journeys from afar.

Singing memories of a brightly shining star.

Ar gyfer heddiw bore,
Maban bach, maban bach,

A gaed o wreiddyn Iesse

Maban bach.

Y cadarn ddaeth o Bosra,

Y deddfwr gynt ar Sina

Yr Iawn gaed ar Galfaria

Maban bach, maban bach

Yn sugno bron Maria Maban bach
