Crop Circles and the Road to 2012

The weekend conference in Phoenix, Arizona started with a highlight Friday night
when Maya-calendar-expert John Major Jenkins spoke of "Izapa and the
Galactic Alignment of 2012". After a run-through of the different Mayan
calendars and what other mythologies point to 2012 as a turning point, Jenkins
explained his current understanding of what will actually happen December 21st
2012. Having earlier expected a more physical event,* he now leans to a more
inner revolution. (*UPDATE: John Major Jenkins points out that this statement is inaccurate in his
own summary of his conference talks.)
It's not the currents of the galactic centre that's going to make a physical
impact as the solstice sun enters the dark cleft of the Milky Way - or the
womb of the galactic mother as Jenkins also refers to it as. The galactic
alignment is only a way of marking a turning point - it is not the actual event
that will change us. It's a sign of the change that will come
within us.
Non-deterministic in his views, Jenkins argues that this is not an inevitable
change. As we reach galactic midnight and start a new cycle, we MAY be headed
for 13 000 years of spiritual growth. But only if we seize the opportunity and
create this greater future. The universe wants us to, but we have to open up for
it. Our egos must adapt to our higher selves. In this sense 2012 will be the
death of our egos and old ways of thinking, but the spiritual rebirth of
something much greater. Anyone waiting for pole shifts, floods or other
catastrophes will be disappointed as the main event will take place inside of
all of the ones ready for it.
Francine Blake spoke Saturday morning of "England's crop circles of 2004".
As yet another marvellous season had ended in the south of England, Blake could
show some of the most amazing formations ever to appear. All through her
slide-presentation parts of the audience gasped loudly at the sight of the more
advanced and stunning crop circles.
She explained how they appeared near old energy lines and holy sites which had been in use for different religions for thousands of years. The energy making the circles not only changed the crops, but she told of a researcher who also checked the effect on water. After leaving bottles of water in the circles for hours, he looked at it through a microscope. The same pattern seen in the crops, now appeared on the micro level in the water. "As above, as below!"
Blake pointed to the effect the circles have on people as the most important
one. Like the kabbala-formation, she explained how many of the formations were
lessons that could take a lifetime to understand. And in the busiest part of the
season, there could be a new lesson of this magnitude every day. They are
therefore not for one person, but for all of humanity - so that we together can
learn what the circles are telling us. Their teachings will be the bible for the
next 26,000 years - the next precession cycle after 2012.
Michael Peter Langevin told us the "Secrets of the ancient Incas"
and was one of the weekends most captivating and inspiring speakers, if not
directly crop circle and 2012-related.
Langevin shared episodes from his many meetings with the indigenous people of Peru. They are also waiting for a big transformation after the foretold dark 500 years after the white invasion. Great progress is being made on research into the Incas, and Langevin predicted substantial breakthroughs the next ten years. The modern day Incas are already feeling the feminine energy taking over in nature.
Langevin, the publisher of Magical Blend magazine, had not heard of 2012
being mentioned by old Inca prophesies, but said the big change will come when
we decide that it shall.
Jeff Wilson told us about the "2004 crop circles of the USA".
After the amazing English formations, the US-circles were as always a bit of an
anti-climax. But what the Americans lacked in aesthetics they made up for with
statistics. They don't have as many, but they know exactly where they were and
what their characteristics were.
Their research also seems to be more thorough and systematic. Where many English seem to be less than impressed by anything with less than a hundred circles placed over hundreds of feet, the Americans try to get as much technical information as possible out of every circle.
Also American animals find them fascinating, as Wilson told us about a deer
that spent hours looking at a formation he didn't want to pass, before finally
taking the long way around when pressed. American musicians seemingly have also
taken a liking to them, advocating the circles to actually be pieces of music.
The most memorable part of the lecture was undoubtedly a several minute long
sequence where a musician would not stop playing the two chords he was convinced
lay out there in the crops. Wilson also told the audience of the U.S. military's
interest in the crop circles. One soldier told the crop circle researcher that
he came from the Special Crop Circle Investigative Unit at Scott Air Force Base
in Illinois. Of the more curious trivia Wilson shared was that of GSM-equipment
getting wrecked within circles, crops disappearing and a girl being cured of
skin cancer by the energy creating the circles.
Geometer Allan Brown captivated everyone with his "Sacred geometry and
crop circles". Without his drawings it would be close to impossible for
me to recap his run-through of the numerical magic found within the circles. But
at least for me this was one of the weekends most stunning lectures. No one
could after his hour and fifteen minutes think that this was the makings of
some nocturnal Englishmen with sticks and rope out in the fields. Brown showed
how the geometry in the formations was related to the size of the earth and the
Giza pyramids on a numerical level. How these were numbers found in the
architecture of churches and so on. I won't even attempt to explain his
findings, but do try to catch one of his lectures if you can, and remember the
numbers 7920 and 5040!
Maya elder and healer Flordemayo asked "Who are we? Where are we headed?".
She told us about the children of the honey that will be born now. The ones with
the yellow light - the ones creating the new light for the future. She also
spoke of the 20 foot tall angels singing mantras about the beauty in all of us.
They say that if we don't come together, we will disappear.
Flordemayo was one of 500 "Earth mothers" that gathered in New York in
September. 32 of these grandmothers now sit in the council encouraging women all
over the world to empower themselves. For it is the feminine energy that will
save us. The grandmothers will show us the way up to and after 2012.
The Mayan Factor-author José Arguelles made an intense appearance talking about
"The 2012 prophecy and the spiritual journey". Captivating the
audience for at least the first of his two hours on the podium, he told us about
the great change humanity is headed for - the other world that knows us, but we
do not know.
Our choice now is between the technical and the spiritual. If we make the wrong one, we will be wiped out. Just like it happened with Atlantis, Mars and the planet that was where the Asteroid belt is today. We have had 26,000 years to show how spiritually unified we can become. The big test will come in 2012. If we pass, we are ready for the next level.
Arguelles warned us that our conscience is now reduced to maintaining
machines and caring about money. It is time to throw our business cards on the
fire. To get rid of our egos. We should all go on a three month meditation
retreat and start out fresh. In 2012 we can create heaven on earth, but it's
going to take an effort.
William Henry laid out the big picture with his talk on "Stargate 2012:
Surfing the tides of the Milky way". Being less of a scientist and more
of a visionary motivational speaker, Henry had some of the weekends most
farfetched ideas. Entertainingly and in a thought provoking way, he shared his
visions for 2012.
What have happened is that our galaxy is in a starburst-faze. A super wave is headed for us and will again help man make an evolutionary leap. This has happened throughout history and we must be ready to receive these beams of "itz" from the galactic centre.
Henry have found evidence of his theory from passages of the bible,
freemasonic secrets and ancient mythologies from all over the world. This is the
holy spirit we are about to receive. The investigative mythologist doesn't
pinpoint this to happen in 2012, but within the next couple of centuries, so he
urged the audience to keep paying their bills.
Geoff Stray told us about his intimate relationship with 2012 is his talk about
"Beyond 2012 - game over or next level?". Having gathered
different prophesies since the early 80's, he started with a run-through of the
most important 2012-prophesies. You will find all these on this website so we
won't go into detail about everybody from the Mayas and the Hopis to the Maoris,
from people struck by lightning to more or less accurate modern
pseudo-scientists.
The highlight of the lecture was undoubtedly the very visual presentation of
Strays theory on the Aztec Sunstone. Could it have been a blueprint to a Long
Count calendar? Well, in his well made computer presentation it most certainly
was - ticking it's way from 3114 BC to 2012, accelerating rounds at a time.
Nancy Talbott of the American BLT Crop Circle researchers shared the latest
scientific revelations on Sunday, in her talk entitled, "Crop circle
scientific research and new revelations". She ran through all the old
physical evidence of how you can separate the manmade formations from the
unexplainable ones. What was new was BLTs project on the crystallization of clay
minerals in crop circles. After having researched it in BLTs customary thorough
way, they had America's foremost expert in the field confirm their findings. The
crystallization found in formations must according to science have come from
extreme pressure of the kind found under large mountains over a long period of
time, or under extreme heat (many hundreds of degrees) for hours. The now
retired expert stated after quality testing all the results "Do these
people know what they have?". In his written statement he claims that no
known force of energy can have created the crystallization.
The highpoint of her talk - and for many the highpoint of the weekend - was Talbotts story of 24 year old Robert from Holland. Having known him for 8 years she has seen this mans special relationship with the crop circles and the forces creating them. This is one Dutch person you will hear a lot more about in the years to come.
The crop makers have haunted Robert, his family and the area around them since he was little. Even Talbott had first hand experiences with the golden balls of light when she was there. Having always experienced abnormalities with cameras at the Dutch home, she had many strange pictures to show. By far the most thrilling was one taken by Robert of the actual grey-type alien that materialized himself in a chair in the house!
Not wanting to share his experiences for years for fear of being seen as
weird, Robert now speaks regularly with Dutch media, and his father is writing a
book about the whole ordeal.
Making his US debut Dutch crop circle researcher Bert Janssen spoke of "Crop
circle shapes and the human mind". He could share more insights on
fellow countryman Robert's alien crop circle encounters. How could it be that
such menacing looking aliens could be making such beautiful crop circles?
Janssen explained that it wasn't actually a Grey that was the force behind the
formations. The force was just presenting itself as a Grey. As the force could
choose whatever shape it found necessary.
That is also why they have changed from old-days tactics of abductions to the
nowadays crop circle communication. And when they do abduct it is not so much to
operate on, as to educate the abducted. Janssen ended his lecture with a wish
that humans had to become better at communicating with the forces behind the
world's most beautiful mystery as it is obviously meant to be a two-way
communication.
Conference-arranger Chet Snow ended the Sunday with his closing talk, "Crop
circles and the countdown to 2012". The Mayans and the Hopis prophesy
that the gods are returning from the east. Eight more years and we will know for
sure.
