All Bedsteads are available with a choice of bases dependent on your requirements:
Full slatted base:
This consists of a fully bolted steel frame in a choice of 2 lengths, (6'3" or 6'6") with centre rail (on 4'6" and 5'), which disassembles for ease of handling, fitted with 11 full width slats made from 5"x1" finished softwood or 22 half width slats depending on your personal preference.
Headboard / Low end beds:
All headboards come complete with an adapter to bolt to your existing divan or alternatively a full bed frame can be supplied with low end legs instead of a footboard.
Surround frame for use over divan bases:
Using a surround frame system our Head/Footboards can be used on any divan base.
(If drawers are fitted to your divan base please notify us when ordering to enable the side rails to be manufactured to suit.)
'Loft-beds':
We can also provide loft-beds having extended legs to provide desk/work-space underneath - please ask for details.
