Will of Cicily Gomeldon of St Mary Axe, proved 18 Oct 1647
Memorandum That on or about the eight and twentieth day of July Anno Domini one thousand six
hundred fortie and seaven Cicely Gomeldon late of St Marie Actes London widdowe deceased beinge of perfect
mynde and memory and being questioned and discoursed with all concerninge the disposall of her Estate shee the said deceased
did seriouslie (at animo testandi) saie and declare her will and mynde to bee That her sonne Richard Gomeldon should after her
decease should have and enioye the howse shee then lyved in and all her goodes and howshouldstuffe in the said howse; Saveinge
that she further willed and bequeathed unto her daughter Atterbury for the good behoofe of her children the one halfe of the
said howshouldstuffe or Twentie poundes in money to bee at the discreation and choyce of her said sonne Richard payd or
delyvered unto her said daughter Or she expressed her will and meaninge to the same effect and purpose in the presence and hearinge
of her sonne William Gomeldon and Elizabeth Gomeldon and of Joyce Knight and at all the premisses the said deceased was of a sound
and perfect memorie and understandinge witnesse the said William Gomeldon and Elizabeth Gomeldon.
Decimo octavo die mensis Octobris anno domini millisimo sexgentesimo quadragesimo septimo emanavit comissio Richardo Gomeldon
filio naturali et legitimo Ciciliae Gomeldon defunctae [....] etc ad administrand~ bona~ nira~[?] et credita~ dictae defunctae nipta[?]
tenorem at effectum testamenti ipsius defunctae eo quod dict~ defunct~ nullu~ omnio in eodem nominaverit executorem de bene et
fideliter ad administrand~ eadem ad sancta dei evangelia iurat.
