In the name of God Amen
I Richard Gumbleton of Castle Richard in the county of Waterford Esquire being of sound mind tho' weak in body and considering the uncertainty of human life Do make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former ones and this my last will and testament is as follows, after the payment and discharge of all my just debts as soon as convenient I give and bequeath to my daughters Rebecca Gumbleton Frances Eliza Maria Gumbleton and Lavinia Bingham Gumbleton and their heirs seven thousand pounds sterling share and share alike over and above the sum of five thousand pounds to which they are entitled by my marriage settlement which said sum of seven thousand pounds I hereby leave chargeable upon my real and personal estates and I hereby give and bequeath to my son Richard Edward Gumbleton and his heirs for ever the full residue and remainder of all my real and personal estates whatsoever the aforesaid seven thousand pounds being first provided for and secured to my three daughters aforesaid over and above the five thousand pounds to which they are entitled by Marriage Settlement and my further will is that in case of the demise of my son Richard Edward Gumbleton before he shall have attained the age of twenty one years my three daughters aforementioned and their heirs shall then become seized of and enjoy (share and share alike) all my real and personal estates whatsoever and in case of the death not only of my son Richd. Edward Gumbleton (during minority) but of one or more of my aforesaid daughters then that the survivors or survivor and their heirs shall have possess and enjoy all my real and personal estates whatsoever. And I do hereby will and appoint Abraham Morris of Dunkettle in the county of Cork Esquire John Hamilton O'Hara of Crebilly in the County of Antrim Esquire and my Brother Wm. Connor Gumbleton of Fortwilliam in the County of Waterford Esquire to be my Executors to cause this my last will and testament to be duly executed and I moreover hereby will and appoint the aforesaid Abraham Morris John Hamilton O'Hara and William Connor Gumbleton to be the guardians of my son and daughters. Given under my hand and seal at Castle Richard this 26th January in the year of our Lord 1793

The last will and testament of Richard Gumbleton late of Castle Richard in the County of Waterford Esquire deceased (having and soforth) was proved in common form of Law and Probate granted by the Most Richd. and soforth to Abraham Morris John Hamilton O'Hara and William Connor Gumbleton Esquires the Executors named in said will they being first sworn personally saving and soforth.
