| Between 1902 and 1904 he built "Stollmeyer Castle", designed by the Sottish architect Robert Gillies. It was
patterned after a wing of Balmoral Castle. However, Mrs Stollmeyer found the building too elaborate for her simple taste and the Stollmeyers never moved into it. Their son, Conrad C. Stollmeyer took possession of the house in 1904 and named it "Killarney". | ||
