Although the
lads had been happy with the name De Ja Blue, (in fact, for
over five years) a clash of identities had arose during this time,
firstly being that another band in the Essex area also donned this
name, but more than anything the bands name suggested a repertoire of
Blues music. (Nothing against Blues) |

THE BAND |
Former
singer Steve decided to hang up his microphone New Years Eve 2004
having been in the band for over 6 years, although he makes the odd
guest appearance when covering for Mike.
Mike who comes from a good pedigree of budding musicians joined the
band in the summer of 2005 and the band was back in business.
His vocal range and the fact that he plays a mean guitar meant the
band could be more creative with the material they cover, Mike and
Matt like nothing more than a guitar dual along with loads of
harmonizing.
By the way did I mention Mike can also play Drums, Bass, Keyboards,
and even does the odd solo on the Kazoo, usually to Deep Purples -
Black Night, now that's what I call gifted?
The band are from
Essex and have played with popular local
covers/original bands over the years, with the exception of Matthew,
who has built up his awesome guitar playing by years of mimicking his
heroes, Vai and Satriani. Matthew has also recently
become an official endorsee of Marshall & Dean guitars and also represents Dean
guitars within the industry rubbing shoulders with many of his
guitaring heroes. Click

Pete joined the band in April
1999 after the split of Chelmsford
rock covers
band ‘Tall Story’.
He joined De Ja Blue (now Rekovered) as former bass player ‘Geordie’ left to
seek his fortune playing Bass in Tenerife.

Drummer Dave
the most experienced member of the line up has played with many cover
bands over the years, including Hedgehog who can still be seen
strutting there stuff around Essex.

The set list is

The Beatles to
classic rock like Floyd, Free, Deep Purple,
Sabbath, Zeppelin and
The Undertones.

Bon Jovi, Green Day
and The Darkness.
