The Funeral of Joy Bowles, wife of the late Brian Bowles, will be held at St George’s, Holcombe on Tuesday 29th May at 12.30 pm.

Church Walk on Saturday June 2nd This is an easy 4.2 mile walk around the National Trust Killerton House estate. Meet in the NT car park (free) at 10.15 am and lunch will be at the Red Lion in Broadclyst.
There will be no ‘Pause for Thought’ on Tuesday 5th June 2012 as it is one of the Jubilee Bank Holiday days
Picnic in the Park Tuesday June 5th. - The church family is asked to come along in the afternoon bringing friends, neighbours and family to watch and possibly join in the fun on the Lawn. Bring your own food and drink in hampers or lunch boxes etc. Think of the Last Night of The Proms concerts at Powderham, a lovely “togetherness” atmosphere is what we want to achieve

Teenbridge Project - The Hole in the Wall Youth Club As you may possibly know, all the funding and grants have been withdraw from the Youth Club and it will close in June, which is a devastating loss to the community. It is too good to lose.
Please pray for new funding possibilities and for the future of the Hole in the Wall Club, and pray for all the services, meetings and activities this week, particularly for the family of Joy Bowles, and for Sammy Sasi’s family for his baptism next Sunday.
