Movie Mistakes

 

  • Harry doesn't go looking for Peter Pettigrew on the map in the book at night time. He doesn't look for him at all.

  • Harry and Uncle Vernon don't bargain for him to sign his Hogsmeade form when Aunt Marge arrives. Uncle Vernon dismisses the form.

  • Trelawney makes her second real predicition after Harry returns the crystal ball Hermione knocked over. This doesn't happen in the book, Harry learns the predicition during his exam.

  • Harry isn't seen by Malfoy at the Shrieking Shack.

  • Ron and Hermione are not allowed in The Three Broomsticks in the film but are in the book.

  • Peter Pettigrew has ten fingers in some shots.

  • Harry gets the Firebolt for Christmas, not after Sirius' escape from Hogwarts.
