This seventeenth-century coaching inn which sits high in the hills overlooking beautiful countryside towards the sea is located on the old stagecoach route to Holyhead between Denbigh and Abergele. Llannefydd is an unspoilt village with a peaceful environment.
Guests may travel in any direction and be assured of interesting, scenic and charming places to visit.
The long knocked-through black-beamed lounge bar at this welcoming Inn perched over 200m up in the hills has comfortable modern upholstered settles around its walls and facing each other across the open fire. The Restaurant meals are highly recommended by Ashley Courtenay. There is an extensive menu and where possible food is prepared from fresh local ingredients. The bar food has a wide variety of home-made dishes, and vegetarian meals are always available.
In very clear weather it is possible to see as far as the Hills of Cumbria from the comfortable, modern, well-equipped bedrooms. All rooms have a private bathroom, TV, Telephone & Tea & Coffee making facilities.
Whilst well off the beaten track, the Inn is very central for visiting Chester, Llandudno, Betws-y-Coed and Bodnant Gardens, to name a few, see our links page for more information. Back to the top
