Hematite is a natural substance made from iron ore. When polished it has a black grey sheen, which is very attractive. For many years it has been used for making jewellery which can be used for many different occasions. It does not look out of place with evening wear or casual clothes. Many people claim it has properties which give the wearer a feeling of well being or optimism and relieve stress. Others claim it can help people who suffer from arthritis. We cannot say if these claims are true or not, we sell it simply because we like it. It has an appearance similar to black pearl without the high price
