Vespa Scooters

History in Motion

Ever since it first appeared in 1946, the Vespa has escaped stereotyping of any kind. The Vespa started the scooter phenomenon, and went on to sell nearly 17 million units across five continents. Its design and technical features have been regularly updated over the years, but two things about the Vespa have never changed - its inimitable style and ease of use.

The Vespa has been the vehicle of choice for people of all walks of life, and throughout the decades it has never gone out of fashion.

Initially a means of personal transport and freedom in post-war Europe, the Vespa has evolved into a style icon, a worldwide symbol of European design. The Vespa has never stopped evolving while at the same time retaining its elegant simplicity that sets it apart from the competition.

Vespa LX

The Vespa LX offers a blend of classic style and sharp edge modern design together with unbeatable levels of practicality, safety and agility. The all-steel body sets the Vespa LX apart from any other scooter produced today, offering unmatchable rigidity and steering precision. The classic Vespa outline is more sharply drawn than on the popular Vespa ET, which the LX replaces, retaining the characteristic round headlamp and rear-view mirrors in chrome-plated steel.

The saddle height gives riders of any height perfect control of the vehicle, and the 11 inch front wheel with a new five-spoke design in aluminium alloy guarantees greater stability and pinpoint steering. The braking system, powerful 200mm front disc brake with a caliper with two opposed pistons, ensure stability and a smooth ride.

Specification

  • Traditional round headlight

  • Wide and flat footrest for a comfortable ride

  • 200mm diameter front disc brake with two opposed pistons for added security

  • 11" front wheel

  • Steel body and frame

  • Choice of 125cc 4 stroke, and 50cc 2 and 4 stroke engines
