Hangover Autotest - 3 January
Blow away the Christmas and New Years excesses with a days
motorsport at Stobs Camp, Hawick. Dig the car out of the garage
and come along to HBCCs 'Hangover' on Saturday 3rd January 2009,
10:00 arrival for 11:00 start.
Using sections of this years successful Stobs Classic, the
'Hangover' will be suitable for all vehicles, standard road or
more prepared machines. A full days enjoyment is guaranteed for
a bargain price of £15 (including a full years HBCC membership).

Forth Bridges Rally - 8 November
Mike Bliss and Cath Woodman from Bedford, won the Inter
Association Forth Bridges Rally in their Vauxhall Astra.
Organised jointly by HBCC, Scotia Cross Country Motorsport Club
and Edinburgh University Motor Sport Club the event attracted 19

MSA confirms Scottish IRC round in 2009
MSA Performance Director and former World Rally Champion
co-driver, Robert Reid, joined Scotland`s First
Minister, the Rt Hon Alec Salmond MSP, at the announcement of a Scottish round
of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) in 2009.
The announcement of the event, secured by EventScotland the national events
agency working in partnership with Stirling and Perth and Kinross Councils, was
made by the First Minister who confirmed that Scotland will stage the final
round of the prestigious IRC from 19-21 November next year, forming a
centrepiece event within the Homecoming Scotland 2009 celebrations. [more] |

marshals from the club to cover Stage 4 Griffin, on Saturday 27
September. Quite a change to mark time cards for some of the
