SCOTTISH OPEN DOUBLES ...
17 February 2008 - ROY BROWN and Scott Mitchell (pictured left), playing only their second event together win the Scottish Open Men's Doubles title with a final win over Dutch duo Edwin Max and Mario Robbe.

For good measure, in the previous two rounds they defeated Gary Anderson and Gary Robson and Martin Adams and John Walton.

Paul Gibbs and Paul Hogan reached the last sixteen but were beaten by Anderson and Robson.


CURLEW OPEN SINGLES ...
16 February 2008 - ANDY JENKINS beats Danny Smith in the final of the latest singles event at the Curlew PH, Havant.

SHARRON BALE MEMORIAL MIXED PAIRS ...
16 February 2008 - KEV EDE and STEPH SMEE won the Sharron Bale Memorial Mixed Pairs at Andover. The defeated Martin and Stephanie Richell in the final.

DRA SUSPEND ANDY JENKINS ...
15 February 2008 - ANDY JENKINS has been disciplined by the Darts Regulation Authority for behaving in a manner likely to bring the sport of darts into disrepute at the German Darts Championship on 1st December 2007.
 
Jenkins was suspended for twelve months, nine of which are suspended. He is likely to return to professional competition at the US Open in Connecticut in May.

14 February 2008 - JAMES WADE maintains his unbeaten run, fighting back to claim a 7-7 draw against Adrian Lewis at the MEN Arena, Manchester.

BLUE SQUARE UK OPEN REGIONAL FINAL SOUTH WEST ...
10 February 2008 - JAMES WADE, ANDY JENKINS and COLIN MONK each reach the last 32 of the event at Taunton. Wade is defeated by eventual winner Colin Lloyd, Jenkins by Ronnie Baxter and Monk by Wayne Atwood.

Ricky Williams and Ian Critchett put themselves in sight of a Reebok Stadium finals place by reaching the last 64. Williams was beaten by Barrie Bates and Critchett was another to fall to Atwood


DUTCH OPEN SINGLES ...
8 February 2008 - PAUL HOGAN reaches the last 32 of the Men's Singles but is beaten by Robert Wagner.

Roy Brown also picked up ranking points reaching the last 64 losing to Anton Veldhuizen.

7 February 2008 - ROY BROWN and Scott Mitchell reach the last 32 of the Men's Doubles losing to Jeffrey Beekhuis and Anton Veldhuizen.

7 February 2008 - JAMES WADE continued his winning start to the campaign with an 8-6 win over Terry Jenkins at Plymouth Pavilions.

BRITISH INTER COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP ...
3 February 2008 - HAMPSHIRE complete a 21-15 victory over Cornwall at Hill Park Memorial WMC. The Ladies A team draw 3-3 and the Men's A team win by 8-3. Top performances are Nillson Pritchard with a 98 average and Wendy Reinstadtler.

LINDFORD OPEN ...
2 February 2008 - IAN CRITCHETT reaches the final of the Lindford Open where he is beaten by Ben Burton. Semi-finalists are Tony Ayres and Danny Pinhorne in an event in which many middle ranked PDC players take part.

BRITISH INTER COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP ...
2 February 2008 - HAMPSHIRE lead Cornwall by 10-8 overnight after the 'B' team matches at Hill Park Memorial WMC. The Ladies have a resounding 6-0 win but the Men are beaten 8-4. Match award winners are Graham Huggett and Sue Lowther.
