Hampshire hold on for a 19-17 win against Cumbria as both A Teams
lose narrowly. The Ladies by 2-4 and the Mens by 5-7. Paul Hogan and
Jane Monaghan are the top winning averages. |

15 January 2005 -
Hampshire lead Cumbria 12-6 overnight in their clash at Hill Park
Memorial WMC. The Ladies B draw 3-3 while the men win convincingly
by 9-3. Anthony Whitcher and Mandy Keith are the best performances. |

On Saturday 26th March 2005 the second
Andover Classic will be held. A £600 first prize is on offer. Andy

The next Budweiser UK Open heat is in
our local area on Saturday 5th February 2005 and Sunday 6th February
2005. There is a huge £15,200 prize fund up for grabs with £4,000
going to the winner. Most of the World's top ranked players will be
taking part. The event is open
to all darts players at a cost of £55 payable to the PDC on 024 7669
3335. Full details of the draw and venues will follow as soon as

James Wade beats Gary Welding and makes the semi finals at Newcastle
going down to the eventual winner Steve Hine. Colin Monk
unfortunately meets the eventual finalist Bob Anderson in
outstanding form in the quarter finals. |

Both James Wade and Colin Monk qualify for the second day. Ian
Critchett earned a win over former World Number 1 Rod Harrington to
make the last 64 which puts him on the merit table that ultimately
decides the players that will contest the June finals at Bolton’s
Reebok Stadium. |
