reaches the last eight at Telford before going down to Raymond van
Barneveld. James Wade is
beaten by Colin Lloyd in the last 16.
Newly married Aaron Turner makes
the last 32 before Wes Newton edges him out and another former
Hampshire County player Simon Whatley also lasts until the quarter
finals before losing to Brendan Dolan.

Ladies A Team are beaten 4-2 with Elaine Harty having the top
winning average. The Men's A
secure a 6-6 draw thanks to man of the match Danny Smith's great
last match win over WDF ranked number 5 Scott Waites.
Yorkshire win the weekend overall
by 22-14 leaving Hampshire precariously above the bottom two.
The last match of the season is
away to Cheshire. |

been playing a European select team in a friendly at Lakeside
Country Club yesterday and today.
In the Saturday afternoon
session Roy Brown is beaten by Geert de Vos from Belgium and Paul
Hogan loses to Robert Wagner from Norway.
In the Sunday afternoon session
Paul Hogan is much more impressive in his win over Welshman Robert
Hughes and averages 96.
Newly married Laura Turner
(formerly Power) is narrowly beaten 3-2 by Holland's Karin Krappen
in the Sunday evening session and Roy Brown goes down to Finn Jarkko
Komula.
Sadly, Arron Monk is deselected
from the Youth Team, apparently for being a PDPA member.

of the event against German favourite Karsten Koch but is beaten
3-1.

at Brentwood but is beaten by Wayne Jones.

Danny Pinhorne has another
excellent win over World Champion John Part before going down to
Chris Mason in the last 64. Bob Crawley reaches the same stage
beating Mark Walsh before losing to Ian Jopling.
Arron Monk has two fine wins to
reach the same stage including one over former world finalist Dave
Ladley before Vincent van der Voort ends his hopes.
Robbie Newland also picks up his
first Order of Merit prize with two wins including one over another
former world finalist, Rico Vonck from the Netherlands. Jamie Caven
