CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER DRAW ... |
26 November 2004 -
The draw for board allocations at the play off in Hull to be held on
Saturday 4th December has been made.
Colin Monk (15) and James Wade (16)
are seeded and Bob Crawley, Ian Eames, Aaron Turner, Ian Critchett,
Robert Heard and Martin Harper will all be chasing one of the eight
places in the televised stages up for grabs.
Andy Jenkins is already assured of
a place in the last 32 at the Circus Tavern when the event gets
underway on Boxing Day.

beats Bob Crawley to take the Mens Singles at Mill Rythe and Linda
Ithurralde makes it a Durham double by beating Laura Power, both
finals reaching the final leg. Lisa Munt and Joan Parmley defeat
Laura Power and Chrissie Skehan in the Ladies Pairs while Steve Catt
and Richie Gardner combine to edge out Colin Monk and Ged Harrop.
John Burbidge, Bob Crawley and Sue Challis beat Paul Gibbs, Angela
Hogan and Paul Hogan to the Mixed Triples title and Shane Clifft has
a narrow win over Aaron Monk in the Youth Singles final. |

Jenkins reached the last 16 of the UK Open Scottish heat at
Murrayfield before defeat by Gary Anderson. James Wade reached the
last 64 but went down to Stewart Rattray. The event was finally won
by Andy Smith who saw off the strong challenge from Gary Anderson. |

November 2004 - The UK Open
moves to Scotland this coming Sunday for the third of the eight
qualifying heats. Edinburgh's "Home of Rugby" Murrayfield is the
setting as many of the world's top players battle it out for over
£15,000 and vital placings in their quest to reach the finals at
Bolton next June.
The draw for board allocations has
Andy Jenkins expected to meet Steve Maish in the board final and
James Wade has young Welshman Andrew Davies in his group. Ian Eames
and Ian Critchett look set to cross swords in an all Hampshire clash in the

for board allocations for the final event in the £100,000 Players
Championship Series has taken place for next Saturday's event at the
famous Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. As in the previous four
events there is a £20,000 prize fund with £5,000 for the winner.
Seventh seed Andy Jenkins and Ian
Critchett are both drawn on the same board while James Wade has a
tough group that includes Matt Clark and Steve Coote. Ian Eames
faces opposition from last week's finalist Andy Smith and former

Andy Jenkins is again the highest ranked Hampshireman in the latest World Ranking table released by the
Professional Darts Corporation following the weekend's Rotterdam
event. He remains at number ten while Colin Monk climbs a place to number 45
and James Wade jumps five spots to number 45. Wade's first round win
over World Grand Prix Champion Colin Lloyd's dents his hopes of
taking the top spot from Phil Taylor as he needed to reach the

goes down to eventual winner Ronnie Baxter who takes the £5,000
