- Andover Youth Academy entertain the Hampshire Youth
Team. The Hampshire Team win the Girls match by 5-2 and the Boys
match by 6-5. Best players for Andover were Chelsea Newman and Olly
Hams, and for Hampshire Tara Power and George Mayne. |

- James Wade and Denis Ovens have won the Men's Pairs in Houthalen
beating Jan van der Rassel and Yves Cottenjé in the final. |

FUNERAL DETAILS ... |

Chris's funeral service will be held
at 12:30 p.m. on Friday 1 December at Cosham Baptist Church, Havant
Road, Cosham, followed at 2.00 p.m. by a cremation at Portchester
Crematorium.
Mourners are welcome to join family afterwards from 3.00 p.m. at The
Railway, on the High Street, Cosham.
The Jenkins family have asked for family flowers only, and for any
donations if desired to be given to the Heart of Darts Charity.

Plenty of Hampshire interest at the recent Maltese Open with Wendy
Reinstadtler taking the Ladies title. Amanda Humphreys made the
semi-finals and Gill Brown reached the last eight.
Roy Brown and Alan Yates reached the
last sixteen of the Mens Singles won by Michael Rosenauer.
Amanda and Wendy teamed up to win
the Ladies Pairs title and Roy and Alan made the semi-finals in the Mens. |

James Wade beat Kevin McDine in the semi-final by 4-3. He included
his third nine dart finish in ranking events in the last nine months
in the fifth leg. James went
on to beat Ronnie Baxter 5-3 in the final to move up to eleventh in
the world rankings. he also added £1100 to his order of merit total. |

James Wade has qualified for Sunday's stage semi-finals where he
will face Kevin McDine. Ronnie Baxter takes on Andy Belton in the
other semi-final. Colin Monk
had a run to the quarter finals before losing out to McDine. This
result assures him of a place at Purfleet irrespective of what
happens in the final ranking event next weekend. |

Cook wins the £200 top prize at Andover beating Sam Rooney 6-4 in
the final who had to settle for £100. Jeff White and Ali MacDonald
earned £50 apiece reaching the last four. |

17 November 2006 -
Chris Jenkins, father of Hampshire's top ranked player Andy passed
away suddenly yesterday evening. Chris was a great support and
encouragement to Andy's career and had many friends both within
Hampshire and in many places further afield. hcdo.co.uk's
deepest condolences go to Andy and Joan.
News has also been received that Peggy
Mitchell, wife of Bill, one of Hampshire's staunchest supporters has
also passed away and similar condolences are extended to Bill and
his family. |

Colin Monk makes the semi finals in the second event of the weekend
at Lisse before a stunning comeback from Barrie Bates denies him a
place in the final. Colin wins £1,250 and also moves a step closer
to automatic qualification for the World Championship at Purfleet in
December.
Andy Jenkins is edged out by Phil
Taylor in the quarter finals and Ian Critchett reaches the last 32
with a great win over Andy Smith before going out in a good match
with Co Stompé.
James Wade is beaten by Colin
Osborne in the last 64.
Teenage sensation Michael van
Gerwen eliminates Raymond van Barneveld and John Part but finds Phil
Taylor too strong.

the last leg of a cracking final to take the £5,000 first prize. |

Paul Gibbs has a great warm up for his Lakeside assault as he takes
the prestigious Mens Singles at Hayling Island beating Eddie
Simmonds. Tricia Wright beats
Sue Kerridge in the Ladies final and Shane Clifft edges George Mayne
in the Junior final.
Paul Gibbs combines with Paul Hogan
for a double win taking the Mens Pairs and Tricia Wright does the
same with Dawn Standley in the Ladies Pairs.
Paul Sibley, Andy Saunders, Jo
Senior and Sue Challis are the respective Pairs finalists.
Phil Nixon, Gary Taylor and Susanne
Nixon combine to deny Tricia Wright a clean sweep in the Mixed
Triples event. Tricia's partners were Mick Savvery and Ged Harrop. |

the Netherlands before going down to Dennis Priestley. Andy Jenkins
reaches the last 32 losing to Alan Warriner-Little and Colin Monk
makes the same round going out to top seed Colin Lloyd.
Colin goes on to win the £5,000 first prize with a win over Mick
McGowan who eliminates Phil Taylor. |

Colin Monk had a run to the last sixteen at Irvine before bowing out
by 5-3 to Colin Lloyd in the last 16. James Wade was beaten 5-1 in
the last 64 by Jason Lowe.
Raymond van Barneveld won the event and the £4,000 first prize
beating Barrie Bates in the final.

Hampshire's Ladies A Team have a resounding 5-1 win on the second
day of the home fixture at Fareham. Another drawn match in the Men's
A ensures a Hampshire win over the weekend by 19-17. Nillson
Pritchard secures the vital winning point on his A team debut.

James Wade reached the last sixteen at the Magnum Centre before
Ronnie Baxter beat him 3-1. Andy Jenkins had survived until the last
32 but was edged out 3-2 by former World Champion Steve Beaton.
Adrian Lewis retained his title and
took £5,000 with a repeat of his 2005 final against Mick McGowan.

Hampshire Ladies B lose 4-2 at home to Glamorgan at Hill Park
Memorial WMC, Fareham. The Men's B race into a 4-0 lead but are
pegged back to 6-6 and Glamorgan lead by 10-8 overnight.

Murrell and Angela Hogan who both win Trophyman match awards.. |
