PARTYPOKER.NET GERMAN DARTS TROPHY ...
27 October 2007 - JAMES WADE reaches yet another Pro Tour final at the SeePark in Kirchheim.

Unfortunately for him Wayne Mardle runs out a 3-1 in sets winner in James's fourth consecutive final to take the £5,000 first prize. James has to make do with £2,500.

Andy Jenkins continues his return to form with another quarter final place before losing out to Alan Tabern. Andy collects £600 towards his Order of Merit total.


PARTYBETS.COM GRAND SLAM OF DARTS ORDER OF PLAY ...
25 October 2007 - JAMES WADE and ANDY JENKINS are both involved in the opening day as the £300,000 event sees a welcome return for professional darts to the ITV network.

Andy starts his campaign for the £80,000 first prize against reigning World Cup and European Cup Singles champion Mark Webster.

World Matchplay and World Grand Prix champion James Wade kicks off against January's Lakeside runner up Phill Nixon in his quest to lift a third major television title in five months.


WINMAU WORLD MASTERS DRAW ...
24 October 2007 - PAUL GIBBS, ROY BROWN and WENDY REINSTADTLER will be taking part in the Winmau World Masters on BBC TV next month.

The £60,000 event gets underway on Friday 16 November with televised matches on the Saturday and Sunday when eight seeded players join the Men's Singles event.

Roy and Paul must wait to see who they play as they both join the event in the third round. If they win four matches each Roy will face Martin Adams in the TV phase while Paul will face Tony O'Shea

Wendy joins the untelevised Ladies' event in round 2 against Czech Blanka Vojtkova who won her home country's Open last year. Wendy qualified by winning the Maltese Open. Anastasia Dobromyslova, seeded fourth is the top ranked player on her board.


PARTYBETS.COM GRAND SLAM OF DARTS DRAW ...
22 October 2007 - JAMES WADE, seeded fourth is drawn with Phill Nixon, Niels de Ruiter and Glenn Power for the opening group phase of the Partybets.com Grand Slam of Darts.

Andy Jenkins will meet John Part, Mark Webster and Gary Mawson in his group of the 32 man event.

The £300,000 event will be the biggest live televised event in ITV history. It takes place between 17 and 25 November in Wolverhampton.


BLUE SQUARE UK OPEN SCOTTISH REGIONAL FINAL ...
21 October 2007 - JAMES WADE is back to winning ways in his twelfth world ranking final of 2007. He shoots finishes of 170, 145, 128, 105 and 90 as he eclipses Ronnie Baxter by 8-2 at the Magnum Centre, Irvine.

Andy Jenkins has a great run to the quarter finals and Colin Monk lasts until the last 16.

Ian Eames and Jason Crawley both win their first matches but are beaten in round two.


SCOTTISH PLAYERS' CHAMPIONSHIP ...
20 October 2007 - JAMES WADE reaches another Pro Tour final but an excellent 109 average from Andy Smith denies him the title at the Magnum Centre at Irvine.

Bob Crawley, Andy Jenkins and Ian Critchett both reach the last 64.

Colin Monk, Robbie Newland and Jason Crawley all win their opening matches but go out in the second round.


CLUB AND INSTITUTE NATIONAL SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP ...
20 October 2007 - PAUL HOGAN representing Basingstoke Railway Social Club is beaten 4-3 by Gordon Dobey in the national final held at Newbold WMC, Chesterfield.

Hogan collects £700 for the runners up spot.

THE ENTERTAINER at Andover stages the Don Knowles Classic Singles on Saturday 17 November 2007.

SKYBET WORLD GRAND PRIX ...
14 October 2007 - JAMES WADE wins his second major title inside three months by beating Terry Jenkins by six sets to three in Dublin. The win gives him his second £50,000 payday of the year and he maintains his number three position in the Order of Merit.

LAKESIDE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ...
14 October 2007 - PAUL GIBBS finishes joint 26th in the invitation table and is awaiting news of whether it is enough to get a return visit to Lakeside.

If the promoters apply the same criteria as last year Paul will be invited to Lakeside and there will be four qualifying spots plus the World Master.


SKYBET WORLD GRAND PRIX ...
13 October 2007 - JAMES WADE reaches yet another major final in an incredible performance against World Champion Raymond van Barneveld who he blitzes by 5-1.

He almost sinks the first 9 darter in World Grand Prix History despite the double start but misses the last dart at the bull.

He plays Terry Jenkins tomorrow in a repeat of the World Matchplay final.


JOHNNY WOODMAN CLASSIC ...
13 October 2007 - NILLSON PRITCHARD defeated PDC star Dennis Smith with an average of over 92 to win the Andover Singles event at the Entertainer. Dennis Simpson and Johnny Haines made the semi-finals.

SKYBET WORLD GRAND PRIX ...
12 October 2007 - JAMES WADE is still in the hunt for a second major of the seasom as he beats Colin Lloyd by 4-0 at the CityWest Hotel to reach tomorrow's semi-final where he will play World Champion Raymond van Barneveld who edged out Adrian Lewis in a last leg thriller.

SKYBET WORLD GRAND PRIX ...
11 October 2007 - JAMES WADE overcomes illness and a fightback from Alex Roy to move into the last eight where he will play former winner Colin Lloyd.

James raced into a two set lead in great style but was pegged back in the third before taking the fourth to win the match.


SKYBET WORLD GRAND PRIX ...
10 October 2007 - ANDY JENKINS sees Mark Dudbridge snatch a last gasp victory in the last leg to go through to the quarter finals. Despite taking ten darts to start the last leg Dudbridge scored powerfully from then on in clinching the match with a 101 shot after Andy had missed two match darts.

SKYBET WORLD GRAND PRIX ...
9 October 2007 - JAMES WADE wastes little time in disposing of Denis Ovens at the CityWest Hotel dropping only two legs on his way to an excellent 2-0 victory.

James plays Alex Roy in the next round.


SKYBET WORLD GRAND PRIX ...
8 October 2007 - ANDY JENKINS survives a scare at the CityWest Hotel before going through to the last sixteen.

Dubliner Jason Barry delighted the partisan home crowd by taking the first set before Andy reeled off three successive legs to level the match.

A great break of throw gave Barry an excellent chance at the start of the deciding set but Andy broke back immediately with an amazing 12 darter. The next two legs went with throw and Andy's throw advantage in the last leg proved vital as he edged over the finishing line just ahead of the plucky Irishman.

Andy now faces Mark Dudbridge in round 2.


BLUE SQUARE UK OPEN IRELAND ...
7 October 2007 - COLIN MONK has a marvellous run to the semi-finals but finds eventual winner Raymond van Barneveld in imperious form and goes down by 7-0.

James Wade makes the last sixteen, also losing to van Barneveld.

Bob Crawley has another good day ousting Terry Jenkins before losing 5-3 to Roland Scholten in the last 32.

Ian Eames has an excellent win over Jason Clark who narrowly missed out last weekend on a spot in the Grand Slam of Darts before Sean Palfrey ends his hopes by 5-3.


BRITISH INTER COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP ...
7 October 2007 - HAMPSHIRE'S Ladies' A draw against Lancashire but a 5-7 reverse for the Men's A Team means Lancashire win 20-16 overall.

Wendy Reinstadtler is the best lady player and Paul Hogan has an excellent average of over 93 in the Men's.


IRISH PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP ...
6 October 2007 - James Wade reaches yet another final on the Pro Tour but is beaten by 3-0 by Phil Taylor.

Bob Crawley has a great run to the last sixteen before being edged out by Tony Eccles.

Danny Pinhorne has a fantastic win over twice World Champion John Part and reaches the last 32 where he loses out 3-2 to Chris Mason.

Andy Jenkins also makes the last 32 and goes down by the same scoreline to Mark Dudbridge.


BRITISH INTER COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP ...
6 October 2007 - HAMPSHIRE Men's B team force a draw with Lancashire in the home fixture at Hill Park. An earlier defeat for the Ladies' B by 4-2 leave Hampshire trailing 8-10 overnight.

Elaine Harty and Steve Hayter are the pick of the day's performances.
