Bill Drabble Cup

The Bill Drabble Cup was held this year on Sunday 26th July, 2009.

The weather was fine again. There was some seriously competitive bowling during the day, with a new winner of the trophy.

Mike Gibbons won this year in a close fought final against one of the Club's newest members Chris Earl. Mike was heard to comment that 'it was just as well it wasn't a handicap competition, since considering the way Chris played, he would probably have been beaten'.
