*** Welcome to the Home Page for the New Kingdom Trilogy***
Blowing
the cobwebs from the dusty old site.
Tut tut, it seems I've been a bit neglectful of the old site in recent months. Today, I've promised myself NO LUNCH until the site is finished. And with crackers and cheese waiting, I can't think of a better way to motivate myself.
So, I know you're dying to find out what's been happening in the decade-and-a-half since I last updated. Well, there was the long-awaited launch of Colin Harvey's "Future Bristol", which is now available to buy at Amazons .com and .uk, or as an E-book at Fictionwise. There's an extract from "Pirates" on the "Extracts" page, as well as a new page dedicated to anthologies which features "Future Bristol" and the forthcoming "From The Asylum Year Four", which will include "Constantia's Office." The FTA Anthology should be out next month, if everything goes to plan.
The other big forthcoming event is the British Browncoat Ceilidh, which will take place at the Mercure Holland Hotel, Bristol, UK, on Saturday September 26th. In addition to the bar, music, dancing and auction of Adam Baldwin's undergarments (maybe!), myself and some fellow Bristol authors will be holding a series of panels and discussions (and possibly hanging about in the bar). I'm sure there will be the opportunity to get books/T-shirts/body parts signed as well. The Ceilidh is in support of Equality now, which aims to educate and empower women in the Third World. It's a very worthwhile cause, so pop on your Chinese dancing trousers and stripy hat and get down here!
Tickets and more information can be found at www.kumara.org.uk, tell Philippa I sent you!
I think that's all for now, I promise to update again before Christmas!
Now, about that cheese....
love
joey
