This is a blatant advert for the AMERES Newsfeed
Imagine having your own personalised newspaper, containing topics of interest to you. It might include - say - the Belfast Telegraph local news, the latest from Lloyds List, the forecast for Larne (rain again), the headlines from New Scientist, vintage morse keys on sale in eBay and naturally what is happening in AMERES, your alumni association.
With a Newsreader -  either web-based or on your PC - you can do just that. You don't have to jump from site to site to stay in touch, the news comes to you and appears on your personal homepage or on you Newsreader program.

What happens when I click the button?
When you click on the RSS FEED button a window appears offering a choice of several web-based newsreaders; Yahoo, AOL, MSN and Google etc.  Uncertain which? We tried several and recommend you click on Add  to Google, If you haven't got a homepage already one will be created for you including of course the AMERES newsfeed. Later you can add your own. You will find feeds on thousands of sites.
(If you a dedicated newsreader program such as FeedDemon, drag the RSS FEED button across to it to subscribe.)
