A POSTCARD FROM EVEREST
Down the years we've received lots of letters and postcards from our friends and customers. This one is a bit more unusual. The original is on display in the pub.
Dawson Stelfox led the first Irish team to conquer Mount Everest. They sent us this postcard form their base camp on Rongbuk Glacier.
The members of Dawson's team were: Nugent, Somers, Fenion, Murphy, Burton & O'Neill-Dean.
