| In the Radio 1 Buzz chart
for last week - The High Fidelity came first with over double the number of
votes to their nearest rivals. A big thanks to everybody that took the time to
vote. The chart is compiled for Steve Lamac's Evening Session and had the likes
of Oasis, Bellatrix and The Eels on it. |

| Sean will be doing a set
for the BBC digital progame "The Beatroom" on Tuesday the 25th January. It will
be filmed at the club 'G.2" in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow from 7.00pm and
entrance is free! It is billed as "The High Fidelity (omnichord set)" Expect to
hear 3 or 4 songs. |

| The band are due to appear on a Christmas special John Peel show. John has asked several of his favourite bands to record a Christmas carol of their choice. Expect to hear a Omnichord (full band version) Silent Night. The show will come from the Madia Vale studios on December 8th 1999 |

| The band are due to return
to the studios this week to record some new tracks for the as yet still
unreleased Demonstration album. As the album was recorded over a year ago it
was felt that a few of the tracks needed updating/replacing. |

| The High Fidelity are
appearing on a new T.V. show called 'John Peel's Sound of
The Suburbs' - It will be broadcast on Saturday, 27 February at 11:40pm.
The show is based on John Peel's travels around the country - visiting local
areas and meeting the bands. Saturdays show is from Lanarkshire and John Peel
meets Sean Dickson (and Sean's dad) where they visit Sean's teenage haunts. A
Double CD will be released on Monday 29th March and will feature "Lazy
B." |

Also announced is an appearance at King Tuts in Glasgow on May 26th as part of the Music Live sessions which should be broadcasted on the John Peel show, this date is with the Delgados. |
