The metal chair has been cast using the sand casting method and the plastic chair has been made using the injection moulding process. Use simple diagrams to explain ONE of these processes, marks to be awarded for quality of sketches, quality of explanation.( 12 Marks) Name a softwood that you could make the wooden folding chair from. (1 Mark) The pieces of wood for the chair seat are each 450mm X 75mm X 15mm. Using notes and diagrams show how you could cut 500 of these pieces so that they were exactly the same length. (3 Marks)
