4. The drawing below shows the main parts of a clock mechanism which has been exploded to show more detail. Copy the diagram and label the parts neatly using an isometric backing sheet.

5. In order to make some drawings more understandable it is often necessary to enlarge small parts so that they become more clear. Below is a drawing showing part of the clock spindle in more detail. Choose any part of the clock, other than the spindle and enlarge it to give more information about the clock.

6. Select a simple everyday object which has about four or five parts and make a drawing of the object with its pieces exploded.
Examples might be-
          a) How a lock fits into the edge of a door.
          b) How a plug  fits together.
          c) How an old type wet razor fits together.
          d) How the parts of an electric toothbrush slot into each other.
You may choose one of these articles, but any simple article will do.
