This box was made from solid mahogany, having a leaded glass panel and etched rose. The corners were dovetails and the door joints were haunched mortise and tenon. The solid mahogany panel in the back was secured by mitred strips pinned to the main carcass. he drawer had a grooved solid wood base. The fittings were bought in brass handles.
