It's about thinkin' & doin'

Not for numpties 2009 is about

The biggest single reason for students choosing this option is that they think it is easy.  Think again! It is time consuming and demanding!

Take a look at what you will have to know and do and set your mind to knowing it and doing it.

You will need to know how to present sketches and produce detailed drawings of the things you want to make.

You will probably need to know about the average sizes of people. Take a look here.

Wood, metal, plastic, strength, durability, malleability, ductility, production, Blah! Blah! Blah! You might find some of the answers to these big words in this little area.

How does it work? You tell me.

You've got to fix the stuff together somehow, and add bits to make it look 'luvley'

Look at the information box below to see how you can download questions, examples and helpers for your own use.

Information.
If you get lost press on the FRONT PAGE bar to bring you back here.
All the work, worksheets, examples and helpers can be accessed from the main navigation bar above (The purple rectangle with written work written on it).  Another way to access work is to read through the site and when your mouse cursor turns into a hand when it is over a picture, this means there is something to be found which is to do with the page or pages  you have just been reading, it might be a short question, an exam question or even an aide which will help you with that section. All the answers are either on the site or can be worked out if you study  the text and diagrams.
The work area is a link which takes you to another site which contains only work.
These sites will not get you through GCSE  although it will help. Only hard work will get you a decent pass!!
