Good POINTS

1 The model worked well most of the time.
2 It would be possible to have it at any height.
3 A disabled person would find it easier to use (wheelchair height).
4 The catch could be fixed to any type of gate or door.
5. It would not be expensive to make.
6. The loop only has to be small.

BAD POINTS

1. the pin turnrd round and stopped the catch working.

2. THE CATCH COULD BE TAMPERED WITH.

3. THE SPRING IS OPEN AND COULD BE DANGEROUS.

changes

1. make the pin square so that it could not turn.

2. enclose the spring so it was safer.

3. enclose the moving parts.
