The railway that isn't there... by Ron Evers

"The Railway That Isn't There" is a an illustrated talk about the Sand Hutton Light Railway in Yorkshire from its early days as a model 4" railway in the grounds of the Hall to the present day when there are only relics of the 15" gauge local service which ran from Bossall to Warthill and on to Claxton. The line was built by Robert Walker who had a vision of using his hobby to serve the local people. The talk was written and the photographs taken by Ron Evers (except black and whites which are of unknown origin).

The following is a contents list of the slides. Go to slide 1 and step through them all to see the full show. If you would like high definition copies (1500 x 1000 pixels) of the photographs please contact Rosemary Hoppitt, explaining your requirements.
