The Bridle Path is straight and level for over a mile. Uninteresting? Not a bit. Again step aside and the hedgerows are full of treasures
The ordinary wild rose grows in abundance. All of you will have seen one, probably photographed one, but let's have a look at the bud, not the outside, but the inside before it opens. A thing of great beauty, the petals so lovingly folded, the stamen, sepals all ready for the touch of warmth to bring them to life. One is lost in the wonder of it.
